Guascor Power concerned with the application of the newest technologies to our engines created a new research and development center, Guascor Power I+D, back in 1996.
This R&D center is devoted to a constant innovation and improvement of the products. Located in Álava it is unique in Spain and considered as one of the most advanced in the world. Guascor Power I+D is also the head office for the engineering services of Grupo Guascor.
Guascor Power I+D has is equiped with 22 state of the art test benches including hydraulic brakes, gearboxes for 1800 rpm, generators and resistance benches, gas chromatographs, computer simulation as well as an electronic lab and a workshop for engines manipulation and instrumentatio.
Guascor Power I+D technological centre the most advanced CAD program and stress analisys program based on Finite Element Methods for an Integral Management of the design of gas and Diesel engines. It is considered one of the most advanced in the world.
Thanks to the analysis and evaluation of the engines, Guascor Power I+D develops solutions to optimize their efficiency, durability and strength .
