Guascor Power FBLD ENGINES. BIOMASS ENGINES
FBLD engine series has been specially developed to work on lean gases from biomass gasification processes. This type of engines burns lean gas of up to 4.5MJ/Nm3, with combustible components being largely CO and H2.
The engine usability essentially depends on the purity of the biomass gas resulting from the gasification process and subsequent cleaning. The content of tar and particles in the gas fed into the engine is of paramount importance.
Guascor Power has a wide experience in the operation of its FBLD engines, using different gasification technologies and raw materials, which led us to opmitise the system components for maximum stability and usability of this type of engines.
FBLD engines can be equipped with mechanical or electronic carburation control and are adaptable to any type of biomass gas. They have been successfully tested with product gases from the gasification of wood, marc, nut shells, coffee grounds, waste tires, etc…
